In 2021, the British Superbike and MotoGP championships were both won by Yamaha riders, but it was in World Superbikes that Yamaha truly dominated. Alright Toprak didn’t walk away with the championship from the get-go, but Yamaha did win the WSBK riders (Toprak Razgatlıoğlu), teams (Pata Yamaha) and manufacturers (Yamaha, obvs) titles, as well as best independent team (GRT Yamaha), best independent rider (Garrett Gerloff) and best rookie (Andrea Locatelli).
But neither the team nor any of the riders have rested on their laurels, and if the below video is anything to go by, the boys in blue will be a force to be reckoned with once again in 2022.
