Red Bull knows how to spend its gazillions in profit, sponsoring the world’s finest athletes throughout the sporting spectrum and ploughing big dollar into one-off displays of extremity. The Austrian’s most recent effort involved utilising Marc Marquez’s unfeasibly large testicles by fitting snow spikes to his RCV and tackling the infamous Hahnenkamm in Kitzbühel – the very same location that Max Verstappen piloted his F1 car last year.
And you have to hand it to Marquez, who really doesn’t fuck about in anything he attempts. With the help of ice speedway legend, Franky Zorn, Michelin PR4s were modified before MM93 ripped up the piste, and we’d imagine HRC engineers installed a slightly softer map.
