Suzuki has finally raided the sporty 125cc segment with this all-new GSX-R125, joining the class leaders from Yamaha and KTM – and the big S is making some bold claims. As well as being the lightest in class, Suzuki reckons the mini Gixer has revolutionised the lightweight class, with ‘class-leading acceleration’ and a feast of snazzy features.
Keyless ignition, an LED headlight and the lowest seat height in the 125cc supersport class all make the £4,099 price tag easier to digest, and we headed to the launch at Silverstone’s Stowe circuit to assess its gusset hunting ability. 15bhp and a 15 stone rider (on a good day) isn’t a magical formula, yet there’s no denying the 2018 Suzuki GSX-R125 is a cracking little bike. And it looks peng, fam.
Bargain buckets…
