Sharing the same triple treat motor and chassis fundamentals from the previous Street Triple, the Rx brags a sharper seat unit and revised graphics to accompany a new black paint scheme. A quickshifter, fully-adjustable suspension and that magical three-pot engine provide the perfect platform…
To answer one of the most frequently asked questions: If I was going to buy a bike with actual money tomorrow, it’d be the Street Triple Rx. Triumph’s naked middleweight has to be one of the most versatile sportsbikes ever created: it can stunt like James Bond on stunt ‘roids, munch miles (with an additional front cowl), cause havoc on a trackday, satisfy the needs of any ability, and provide ultimate commuter pleasures. Although it lacks some sharpness and cutting edge of its fully-faired Daytona brethren when chasing tenths on a circuit, the Street Trip’s everyday usability and sheer thrills more than make up for its trivial detuning. The Rx is also beautifully undiluted.
