Following the sneak preview of Ducati’s sexy Scrambler trio, the Bologna factory has released details of another steed being showcased at the Motor Bike Expo in Verona. This naughty little concept number is dubbed the draXter, based on the forthcoming XDiavel and, interestingly, is an in-house project from Ducati Design Centre.
Suspension and brakes are lifted straight from the factory Panigale Superbike and there’s a Termi’ exhaust that can only be described as a gaper, plus an open clutch displayed. Only when inspecting the rear three-quarter view did we spot that F1-esque tyre, which undoubtedly makes cornering redundant aboard the draXter. Either that or fun..
The number adorning the bellypan happens to represent Ducati’s 90th anniversary, being celebrated this year. Happy 90th, Ducati! Baron – the lucky swine – is off to San Diego next week to sample the all-new XDiavel
